VLN LAB is Testing Laboratory of Fuel and Oil Products at Ukrainian State Chemical Technology University. I used to work here a few years before I got into internet marketing. During my Digital Marketing course I decided to create my first website as well as to help the lab.
It was a completely volunteer project. I created the site, carried out page optimization, and a month later the site began to bring the first customers.

The main reason of creating website was to attract new clients and provide the list of services. Since the oil testing niche is uncompetitive in Ukraine, the site quikly got to the TOP of Google search.
Website was created in WordPress CMS, using Salient Theme and WPBakery Page Builder. Yoast SEO search engine optimization plug-in was installed and free SSL Certificate set up. All pages provide a good page experience in mobile devices.
Colors, fonts were selected for the site, a logo was created and photographs were taken.

On average site brings 130 – 310 visitors per month, and 60-80% is SEO traffic, considering that the frequency of requests is quite low and the traffic is not very high. But for the laboratory it is significant and brings about 5-10 new clients per month.
I am still doing some technical support for the site as a volunteer, but without promotion. If SEO promotion become necessary in the future I think that the main tasks will be:
